We weren’t going forwards for a while as we missed our connection in Manchester.  Despite trains being cancelled everywhere, and the ones that weren’t being  rammed to the hilt, at least we didn’t have to stand.

Now happily ensconced in the loving care of my in-laws for a couple of nights.
