Hawk

I am on a business trip and don't have my camera on this eary morning walk, just my iphone.

I am glad to have though, watching this hawk loop from plane of light to cloudy shadows, wings dipping through geometries of branches. View in Large. The hawk is just to the left of the V on the first lower branch.

Daylight builds. He's posing for me,...soaring above the black angularity of tree trunks ...perfect thermal loop-de-loops. Then, in a split second - he glides out of frame, towards breakfast.
