Change

Slowish start to the morning and decided to go with A to see the next house for sale that they’re interested in in Haddington since N is still suffering. Meant I missed the Brandenburg recital in the Queens Hall but good to see the house and let her talk through her thinking. Nice place, and we walked into the old town afterwards which was just 5 mins away. We had brunch in the Loft cafe, sitting out in the sun. Lovely warm day, bit of a surprise when it has been feeling more autumnal recently.
We drove home and pootled around a bit, doing laundry and shredding some old papers and tidying, then I caught up on this week’s Shetland episode and did some more knitting of my throw. T sent me a photo of his latest allotment harvest…looking great! It will be good to taste some of these and see them all next week.
Out to an early supper with KG. We had a great time….chatting non stop about so many different things. Food was delicious and we had to be thrown out in the end and stood outside talking for quite a while more!
Home and had a cup of tea and went to bed earlyish…couldn’t face going out to the party that started at 10pm!
