Maxie.

Trip to the vet today for Luna’s first rabies vaccination, and to get Maxie checked. She is nearly 12, has dodgy knees and hips, no teeth, and is having trouble breathing. nothing can be done about most of that, but we’re trying some tablets to help with the breathing. She seems more active and alert, and has always been an affectionate and easygoing dog. The vet has a huge black lab called Alf who helps out by distracting patients while they’re having injections. He’s a gentle giant and very caring. Maxie went straight to him to say hello (his head is about the size of her whole body), but Luna growled at him throughout.
