BedZED: Guard Cat?

More and less welcoming in large

Im and I went for coffee with Tom in the morning (long time, no Tom AND no Black Lab coffee...), then I later visited a friend who lives at BedZED (Beddington Zero Energy Development), an intriguing eco-friendly development designed to minimise carbon emissions and water use (with triple glazing, water recycling, shared heating, and innovative wind-driven ventilators with heat recapture).
I was tempted to post the colourful wind-vanes on the ventilators, but this forbidding cat seemed more amusing.
