Determined not to let the Summer Bank Holiday weekend go by without doing something “special”, invited the lovely K and hubbie E from next door round for drinks and nibbles in the garden this afternoon. It was so good to enjoy a slice of normality and forget about all the other stuff for a couple of hours, did both patients the world of good, and me too, though that may have been the bubbles!
