Not As You Know It

This is the Great Crested Grebe caught partaking of a serious deep clean - preening, dipping and shaking every feather in turn; looking decidedly un-grebe like. Finally he floated regally, in a much more recognisable pose, displaying his beautiful crest, then disappeared below the surface before reappearing far from the last seen spot.
