Gathering of the volunteers

It's 8.30am. The finish funnel has been created, the rest of the course is being laid out, and the marshals, timekeepers and barcode scanners are gathering....

Later, I started to replace the kitchen mixer tap, but found that the new tap and the older one had different connectors. Will have to wait until tomorrow and revisit the plumbers' merchant to get the bits I need....
