Balloon

I took a wee cycle over to Strathaven  today and had a quick check out of the balloon festival.  The cycle over is lovely and reminded me a lot of some old Yorkshire roads, but without the hills.  It's kinda weird that I've moved to Scotland and the hills are smaller... Guess that's those steep Yorkshire Valleys for you!

There wasn't much going on at the festival in the early afternoon, though there were some kids from the local school performing on the stage doing a good job and this one balloon hanging around in the park.  I thought it looked quite epic with the church and fair bits in the background.

The cats seem to have gotten the hang of being out and about in the garden unsupervised so that should start making life a bit easier!
