Duck in the weir

Backblip 25th. Trust me to go to Rydal Water and still end up photographing a duck! This one was dipping her head under the fast moving water and emerging every few seconds for a breath. I watched her for ages. We had a very enjoyable hour going round the shops in Ambleside (one of our old haunts with Tom) and then went to Grasmere for a coffee and to see Wordsworth's grave before heading to Rydal water for a few photos. Beautiful weather and lovely to see families enjoying the lake.
