Across The Bay

Out early for a change, doing a bit of sketching whilst resting my things on the harbour wall. Several passersby with encouraging comments, which I accepted with grace. It was a very pleasant experience in the fresh morning air and fortunately the tide was out so the gulls were chatting excitedly along the water's edge.

I liked the outflow snaking its way through the seaweed providing a nice line into the scene. A pity it peters out towards the right edge of the frame, but you can't always organise nature to your own ends. I toyed with removing the small cloud on the right.
