Water shortage

This time last year Airthrey loch would have been teeming with wildlife with ducks, swans and young cygnets in abundance.
 
Today there are few left and those  that remain are in the lower section of the loch.
 
Not only is the water level down 2-3 feet but also there is flourishing blue-green algae.
 
Yet another reminder of climate change right on our doorstep at Stirling university.
