Beans and Magnets

Borlotti beans - hopefully we’ll be able to enjoy them in our winter stews.

A busy week, including a trip back to Southampton to get the dressing on Andy’s foot changed, and a couple of neighbours coming over for aromatherapy massages.

The weekend so far has involved quite a lot cleaning, washing and gardening but the garden feels more orderly and the house less dirty - Merlin is a dust and mud magnet until he enters the house where he drops it everywhere - even up the walls!

Today aside from two dog walks, I’ve spent a few hours at the allotment weeding - we had about 6 hours of heavy rain earlier in the week so combined with the warmth, the plants are growing again. Merlin accompanied me and sat patiently whilst I worked.

This evening we are resting - watching a few of the sailing channels we follow on YouTube, and the Fedex Cup Final golf competition which Andy has been following.
