Stings!

Here we are in sunny Essex! We went out for a walk with the dogs this morning, and as we were admiring the deep cracks in the Essex clay, we realised that we were standing over a wasp nest. Bad idea. Rob, Misty and I were all stung. We ran!
We spotted another underground nest further along the path too. They are obviously enjoying the dry weather.
Safely back in my sister’s garden, we were warned about their hornet nest in the shed. My brother in law Chris had been stung a few days ago and still has a very swollen arm.
Apart from that, we are feeling very welcome!!
