By the blooming heather

Kanji will be going back to Brighton tomorrow, so we took him up to St John's Lye this afternoon where the heather was both bonny and blooming. It's nicely wooded beyond the playing field with lots of pathways to choose from through wooded areas and meadows. He loves it there - probably his favourite walk.
