Up and out the door early with Kent as we head off to check out the wildlife.

Before we even left, this guy was discovered visiting on the driveway and I chased him into the grass.

The morning started out very foggy but the sun worked hard at burning it off.

We spent a very pleasant morning driving the ATV and enjoying nature.

After lunch at the Marina Grill we headed over to Burt & Jolanda’s where we spent a most enjoyable afternoon in their company. We didn’t do anything “exciting” but chatted about family traditions and things that were important to us.

It was a great day all ‘round and makes me wonder why we don’t do it more often.
