A tapas adventure

Tonight we ate in El Celler, a tapas restaurant in Blackrock. This was our first experience here and we booked it on spec the previous evening. We'll definitely go back.

We ordered five dishes to share, of which three were exceptional. El Celler is in Blackrock Market on the main street, which is a no-nonsense, unprepossessing space. It's quite a surprise to find such a good restaurant tucked away like this (and even more surprising that Liath, one of Dublin's most talked-about restaurant is also located there). El Celler is downstairs, in a vaulted cellar space. It's small, but packs atmosphere. Great staff too.
