A new hat for Darcy

How generous you all are ! Thank you all so very much for your galaxies of stars and kind hearts bestowed on our New Zealand native falcon "flying "in our garden yesterday.She really is a beauty and we are  truly thrilled and mesmerised by her .
Last night I finished knitting this little 4 ply hat for Darcy , then after putting a braised beef and mushroom dish in the oven for dinner and weeding the vegetable garden, I headed down to the stitching cave and stitched the seam of Darcy's hat and after lunch made a pompom for the top and attached that. All done...and his mum loves it (video chat to Australia this morning). Later I spent an hour or so spreading fertiliser on part of the lawn, added liquid fish manure to the vegetables gardens and after a shower , I shall head downstairs again and carry on knitting a collar onto a jersey almost finished for Darcy. Dinner's ready so I can be lazy till 6pm ; ))
