How peculiar!

Looking for something peculiar is not so easy and I had to be imaginative taking feral pictures all on a similar theme but this one taken an the morning dog walking area stood out.
Why?
It was 1448 and remembering that we have had devastating rain drawing mud and rocks down from the hills and as can be see the course of the flowing water has been re-instated and the layers of mud and rocks cleared away.
I found it peculiar that the crew manning the machines to return us to some sort of normality had finished for the day and gone home.
Obviously no urgency and as we walk there of a morning I know they start at 0800.
