Son et Lumiere
The King enjoyed a pootle around the Minster today; the organ noise filled the air and the mottled refractions of a North window added more magic dust.
The velcro attached textile nativity figures weren't quite in the right place on the wall as usual, so The King took it upon himself to move them around to his satisfaction. A crayon picture followed.
He choose a watermelon gelato to follow. Pink is his favourite colour at present, and it was his preferred shade of pink.
Mendelssohn - St Paul's
A enjoyable performance of St Paul's oratorio in full the previous evening. The soprano, Anna Dennis was striking looking as they usually are; loved her slightly edgy look including shoulder tattoo. Very enjoyable but not in the same league as expected, as the earlier smaller bespoke, niche events.
Another excellent pre-concert talk by Martin Bussey, some of which was a bit beyond my level of understanding of the bible and music.
