No train

There is a train that runs from the nearby town of Diakopto, into the hills up to Kalavryta. We've been keen to take a ride on it but with it being an hour's journey, and also a little steep in places, we decided to wait until after the girls had returned to the UK, and today was the first chance we've had snce then.

Sadly, though, we had underestimated its popularity, and it was fully booked, apart from one-way tickets at three o'clock. For your pleasure, though, I have included here a photograph of one of the decommissioned trains. If we do come back next year, I will post some photos of the actual journey!
