Mountaineer, mathematician, musician...in his 90s.  Whenever I visit he puts on his boots and says, "Let's go!"  We don't have a long walk anymore but we go as far as possible.  He knows the Latin name for the plants, so he keeps me on my toes and I help keep him on his feet.
