Since we've been here, we have eaten out pretty much every evening, I think, and that's all been Greek food (and I've no complaints about that!).

However, we had spotted an Italian restaurant - with good reviews - further along the beach from where we usually based ourselves, and we went there to eat this evening.

The road immediately behind the beach is closed in the evenings, so we parked up in one of the side roads, and then we enjoyed a pleasant walk along the front until we reached the restaurant.

It was, as ever, a balmy evening, although we did have some gorgeous, heavy rain today. The first since we've been here, despite some pessimistic forecasts over the last three or four days.

Anyway, we sat outside, enjoyed the excellent Italian food and one another's company.
