Litter Picking Up Old Pale

I'm sure the rangers at Delamere Forest are really pleased that they have got volunteers to help them with the litter picking now as it means they can send us up Old Pale rather than having to walk up there themselves every day :-)

Not too much litter on the main paths up to the top but by the time I'd walked back down on the less well known paths my bag was full of plastic bottles, sweet wrappers, an empty packet of bacon, 4 metal forks and a frying pan!! ..... yes, I kid you not...... an actual frying pan!

It looked as though a group of people had tried to start a fire to cook their bacon....... in the middle of a forest ...... in these weather conditions .....when there have been 3 forest fires already this summer in Delamere .......the stupidity of some people beggars belief!
