lovely picnic

I drove to Appley Bridge and we walked along the canal towards Parbold. There aren't many benches but we did find one to have our picnic. We walked through the Appley meadows on the way back and found this lovely bench with a fabulous view. 
I drove onto the top of Parbold Hill as there is an ice cream van there and we both enjoyed a 99!
Came home and sat in the conservatory which was lovely and warm of course we both fell asleep for and hour!
