Weymouth Quay

Three vignettes on this G.W.R. poster tell of the attractions of Weymouth and the coast of Dorset. Weymouth originally had two stations Town and Quay, the latter with trains following the street from Town to terminate alongside the steamers which served the Channel Islands. Sadly the Quay station closed in 1987 and recently the street lines were ripped up despite protests.
