Sandy

Woke up at 4am, found myself too wide awake to go straight back to sleep.  Dilemma of getting up and preventing return to sleep or just stay put and hope I drift back off.  Opted for the latter and put radio on and eventually drifted off.
Headed to town after breakfast for bread and lightbulbs.  Surprised to see the sand pit in thd shopping centre.
Light lunch and sat in the garden reading.  Air was a tad chilly and for the first time in months had a cardigan for a while.
Finished reading The Two Pound Tram by William Newton and now reading Kestrel for a Knave by Barry Hines.  I've seen the film Kes but have always wanted to read the book and the Bookish market stall had a copy.
Pleasant evening everyone.
