The Top.

Today, the two floating cypress panels were entombed within the imbuia frame. Together, they comprise the top panel of The Contraption. Back in July, I Blipped the process of glueing up the cypress panels.
The cypress is now varnished and waxed, the frame parts are planed and scraped flat to match the panels, but are yet unvarnished.  Three sides have a molding glued around the rim, a smaller version of the beefy molding that will be at the bottom.  Everything is made now, it's just a matter of putting all the bits together!
