A splash of colour

Finding the odd splash of colour around the garden still, and this dianthus is rather special, especially as I grew it from seed a couple of years ago! Wish I could remember the variety!

A trip to Southend this morning as Dad needed to visit a couple of banks.  The theme park along the seafront seemed to be doing a roaring trade if the queues for rides were anything to go by!  Last week of the school holidays!  WHSmith were doing a roaring trade in stationery today too!! Oh how I wish we'd had the choices of pencil cases etc when we were at school as they have so many nowadays! I'd be in stationery heaven!!
