Devil's Den

Located out of the way in Clatford Bottom, this dolmen marks the site of a neolithic long barrow. Unlike nearby Avebury which is always crowded, we had this valley to ourselves. To me the top sarsen stone does seem to portray a demonic face. I had planned to visit at night to photograph the night sky here, but now I am not so sure.
