Life-saver

Heard intermittent beeping. Realised it was the smoke alarm. The original battery was lithium, but did some research and found alkaline will do - but may not last as long. Luckily had one of those. Put it back up, and all is fine.

Still remember when we once had an electric smoke alarm which started beeping and we couldn’t stop it. We tried everything, eventually had to smash it into smithereens to stop the racket.

Went shopping. Not much else. Continuing with my admin …
