Energy Crisis

Like everyone else I imagine, we’re thinking about how to minimise our energy use this coming autumn and winter. The price increase from October is absolutely horrendous, and a lot of people are going to really struggle. When we have a working government which can make decisions (less said about what is going on in the UK at present the better) it needs to think about the real world rather than the fantasy one it seems focussed on for now.

I was sceptical about this gizmo at first, would a wi-fi controlled thermostat operated through an App on my phone be such a good idea. It won’t solve anything, but it is undoubtedly helpful in managing our heating and hot water so that we’re only firing up the boiler when we really need to.
