Wildside

Made a trip down to Buckland Monachorum today the the wonderful garden that is Wildside with Sue. And what a treat! Thanks to a invitation  from Gilesy  (Di) who volunteers there to visit, we arrived just after they opened this morning. 

Although late in the season there was plenty to see, in the gardens, which are divided into various areas from the lower gardens to up to the canyon area. Think Suejay50, has already posted, and has described it too. We are both looking forward returning in the Spring. Had a picnic lunch, before paying a quick visit to Buckland Abbey, former home of Sir Francis Drake, now looked after by the National Trust.
