A better Truss than any other

The tomatoes are doing very well this year. All 15 plants with plenty of fruit. Quite a contrast to last year when a fungal disease affected the leaves. I thought it was blight but it didn’t exhibit the symptoms of the disease.

Also doing well are half a dozen chillies of different varieties. Best year I’ve had for them for a long while. Cucumbers are productive too. Unusual as some are pale skinned while others are green. Made some more cucumber pickle this afternoon. We eat cucumbers at every opportunity, like courgettes which make an appearance in every dinner whether they’re part of the recipe or not.

Some tidying up around the garden today. Clipped the evergreen near the garden gate then did battle with the vicious pyracantha around the pond. I came off relatively unscathed.
