A full day of it as first time visitors to Copenhagen.

After a big hotel breakfast it was off to explore - highlights included the equestrian staircase at The Round Tower, the canal boat tour from Nyhaven and The Glyptotek.

The hotel offered a free glass of wine between 5 and 6 so we sat in the courtyard back at ours and played a few games of backgammon over a pretty generous glass of red before heading out later to share a pizza and a complimentary alfresco Tuborg across the street. All very civilized, quite like this place.
