From the cartel?
(Backblip)
Boringly, I only took one photo today. It's of my coffee delivery. Tediously I've blipped this type of packaging before. A friend on Facebook suggested that my favourite bean, the Colombia Medellin, must be 'from the cartel'. I didn't know they did coffee!
After hoovering some cobwebs off the ceilings in honour of my sister's visit, I ran down to town because I'd suddenly remembered that I didn't have a cake for CleanSteve's birthday. I decided to buy some handmade artisanal almond and pistachio biscuits instead, beautifully boxed. Had a coffee. (Easy come, easy go with the money...)
Hotfooted home so I could tweak the bedcovers one more time in the spare room, then CS and I set off for Swindon station to meet TML. First shock: the road to Cirencester was closed. (There were other shocks, but I don't remember them now). Picked up TML without incident. She'd travelled from Bahrain to Heathrow to Reading to Swindon, the latter part necessary because the National Express coach from Heathrow no longer serves Stroud.
Drove home via a scenic route, and I cooked supper. It was fish with sweetcorn and carrots and peppers. Something (the sweetcorn?) Prevented me from sleeping. My stomach grumbled like a faulty washing machine for most of the night. Pity, because otherwise I'd had a relaxed and leisurely day.
