New skills when ready

I am noticing another leap in the twins development since they turned 3. This afternoon they were both very engrossed in a weaving/threading activity. Their fine motor skills have advanced incredibly in the past 6 months.

It also interests me that some things I am fooled into thinking they are incapable of, in reality is because they don't want to. Pre-birthday they were the messiest eaters ever. On their birthday they suddenly announced they no longer need bibs and have been immaculate eaters ever since! (Apologies for so many they's today; actually a pet-hate of mine in regards to talking about twins as they are two separate people!)

Maple is well again today :-) Before bedtime we were all in fits of laughter as I have got into a really bad habit of giving the twins a spoon of honey before bed the last bit in the bottle was making what Oscar called, "Poo-wee" noises coming out. Oh to be a child again.
