Big washing day

a bright yet cool day, with just the right amount of afternoon light to promise brighter and warmer days to come - what with it being the last official day of winter. Maybe enough of threat in the weather forecast to suggest maybe rain; enough to err on the side of caution on the decision as to where to put out the washing. 

For me, a day of achievement with small plans, incremental steps forward, starting with cafe prep cooking and then starting to lay out washes on a new painting, and finally making dinner for my mother and sister and then some photo editing and uploading. 
Lots to do before Spring starts.
