Last day. . . .

. . . . of official Summer.
Another lovely sunny day, with a bit of breeze to keep cool.
After visiting the osteopath I popped over with a friend to see another, mutual friend, whose 90th birthday is today.  We spent a lovely couple of hours chatting, eating 'pastel de nata' and drinking tea (well I was driving!).
It was wonderful to see her enjoying this special day.  Her family is over with her tonight to celebrate further.
I saw the prints of the photos we took of the wedding and was relieved to see they appeared to look great. Phew!
These beautiful seed heads were given to me as we left.  I'm going to plant the seeds and see what colour they turn out.
