Equality for cats!

At the vets this afternoon Toff was most put out that dogs were receiving preferential treatment, with their very own dedicated parking spot! I was even more put out when I had to pay the third hefty vet bill in two weeks! (Blood tests taken to try and find out why Toff is still losing weight, despite eating much more since last week’s antibiotic injection and antibiotic ear drops.)

Busy day of chores, but nice to find an hour to have lunch with mum in the garden, and talk about the jigsaw I gave her of Combe Martin, where she used to spend her childhood summers, visiting her granny and aunts. A breezy day of sunny intervals and 24 degrees, and another day where helpful friends, neighbours and hospice carers made the world of difference to us.
