The Grey Corries
I had an unplanned day off and took Caley to the Grey Corries.
My rucksack was ridiculously heavy with camera kit, including a tripod. In addition to usual mountain walk packing, I took one and a half litres of water (and I drank it all). When I went to pick it up I thought I was standing on one of the straps.
Caley will soon be twelve. His antics today were like Roger Bannister doing the mile in a second over four minutes at 80 years of age.
I have said it before, he knows in the morning when something good is happening and he won't finish his breakfast for fear of being left behind.
It was a brilliant walk in perfect conditions. Extras
