Leftover bits

As many of you know I’m involved with the Quilts for Care Leavers movement and ran the JULY 2021 and the March 2022 block drives. This is where individuals across the country make a specific quilt block and send it to me for collating in to quilts. So far I have completed 16 from July 21 and 6 from March 22. I have many of the March ones to make (possibly 50 or more) but I am getting towards the end of the July 21 quilt tops. However I asked people to send me off cuts and bits left when they made the blocks and I said I would make a leftover quilt. This is how it looks at the moment.

I did a bit of sorting and a bit of sewing and in my head it is taking shape. Believe me it made a nice change from sewing the blocks together.
