Barter Books

First day of the hols...

we stopped at Alnwick for some lunch on our way down to York... whilst we were there we headed to Barter Books, a converted train station which is now a massive and wonderful second hand bookshop, complete with model railway, plush seating and a tea shop. They were also the people who found the keep calm and carry on poster, and launched the revival of the phrase...
