75% Complete

All this year I’ve been slowly battling along Route 66, mostly on my bike. It really is a challenge too far but I’m not giving up now! Only 568.5 miles to go. I reached 75% mark today.

Every day I look at the road on google earth and it ALWAYS looks like this… totally empty and grim. My romantic idea from Jack Kerouac of Route 66 is cancelled - I never want to travel it in real life. It’s so tedious!!
