I had a whole load of meetings and calls cancelled today which was good in one way but not in others. It makes the day very disrupted. 

The house we both liked and put an offer on, that we thought was about to be accepted, was also pulled off the market today. I think she got cold feet with the state of the economy, plus she had it on at way over its value. It's annoying as we'd both decided it was 'OK', which is the closest we've got to agreeing on a unicorn anywhere. 

Home to celebrate No.1s first day at her new job tonight. She's now a SEN TA at a school at the end of her mum's road, where he half brother attends. She was more excited than anxious last night, which was good.

Today was the last day floor 12 was open. After two months of wall to wall sunshine it was obviously cloudy all day today but the cathedral still looks good.
