Blue & White

Today's highlight was meeting a friend whom I have not seen since March 2020. 

Her health has forced her to be very cautious about exposure to Covid, so I suggested coffee at The Ship Inn in Limekilns where - if the weather forecast was right - we would be able to sit outside. 

Well, for once the forecast was right. The pub faces south, and with the white wall behind us, it was very pleasant indeed. 

It was a great way to start September, sitting in the sun for 90 minutes. 

I like it when a plan works out.
