A really great day in Edinburgh. A sunny start for the Big Beach Busk - the first time back since 2019! Lots of folks singing their heart out. 

I went into town to meet with a fellow Canuck in Marchmont. Edinburgh’s crow step roofs were twinkling in the sunshine and the whole neighbourhood looked fabulous. My friend was in great form and it was great to catch up. There’s nothing quite like being with friends from home.

Later on I a met another friend for a play, a pint and poutine. It was her first experience of the Québécois dish and I’m sure she’ll be back for more.
