Conflicts Abound

I wondered why these little flies or bees were being so aggressive in the Sedum flowers. I looked closely at my photos and decided they are Carder Bees who are naturally protective of their territory. 

I am free when Ellie isn't here, but I often get less done. I am motivated to keep Ellie busy, and she loves to help me with chores; it might take us longer, but at least I get stuff done.
