Amberjacks

We’ve been back in Perth for three nights now and it was high time we high tailed it down to one of my favourite fish and chip shops in Australia.  Tonight we were greeted by Videt one of the owners who told us she has had the business for 15 years now.  I ALWAYS have the whiting, it’s my number one pick and Mauzee opted for the Orange Roughy.  The secret is, you can’t be more than about 5 minutes at the most from the destination you are going to consume your fish and chips.  Lucky for us Steve and Carol’s is only about 2 minutes away so we did our personal best at getting it upstairs and on the table :). Nothing worse than soggy chips!!
We’ve had a catch up day today and I have established that the most expensive part of our travels so far is the diesel required to run MiniMo.  We are paying more than double than we did just over 12 months ago.  It must be tough for grey nomads who are on the road for really long periods.  
Oh, and I can confirm that the sign is spot on, the fish was delicious :)
