Solace Day 1 - We're On OUr Way

This is us on our way on Solace again - The Man, #2 Daughter and myself, coping with a holiday on the boat where our Dear Mate died earlier in the year. The man in the office at the marina was surprised to see us, he thought we'd never go on the boat again, but, life goes on for us and these are the holidays we enjoy.

A lot of the canal system is closed due to lack of water but fortunately, the geology around the Trent & Mersey canal has ensured it is topped up.

We don't aim to go far this week. We've planned some walks and visits along the route.
